When i replaced my Bose, i actually left the factory speakers in. They are pretty darn good with big magnets. Get rid of the crappy amps that control them, all 4 of them and replace it with one aftermarket amp. Gotta do a lot of rewiring but its worth it, also get yourself a decent head unit. You will be suprise at the sound. U might also need a line filter as doign it this way lets a lil engine noise in.
